It’s been difficult to stay track of each game release in 2020 thus far. Several big games were delayed early within the year. And shortly after, the spread of Covid-19 impacted the planned release dates of the many others as developers transitioned to performing from home. We’re keeping this list up-to-date whilst more delays appear so ready to “> you’ll keep track of what you’ll actually be able to play this month.

Outer Wilds is a 2019 action-adventure game developed by Mobius Digital and published by Annapurna Interactive for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Within the game, the player-character finds themselves on a planet with only 22 minutes before the local sun goes supernova and kills them. The player continually repeats this 22-minute cycle by learning details which will help alter the result on later playthroughs. It received critical acclaim and won several awards, including the game of the year.
Outer Wilds is a space-based action-adventure game that centers around a mysterious solar system trapped in an endless time loop. Players will be out on adventures, searching for answers in a constantly evolving solar system.

Desperados III is a real-time tactics video game developed by Mimimi Games and published by THQ Nordic. The first installment in the series since the 2007 spin-off title Helldorado, will be released on June 16, 2020 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The team behind the brilliant Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun take their tactical selves to the Wild West. You’ve got another ragtag group of uniquely skilled fighters shooting, abducting, stealthing, and apparently even mind-controlling their way across dusty one-street towns.
The Dark Pictures: Little Hope:

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope is an interactive drama survival horror video game developed by Supermassive Games and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is the second of eight planned installments in The Dark Pictures Anthology series and the successor to Man of Medan. The game is set to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in mid-2020.
The next episode in Supermassive Games’ The Dark Pictures anthology series is small Hope, starring the mean guy from the primary Maze Runner movie. Since the story won’t be directly tied to Man of Medan, we do not know much beyond the brief teaser above. There’s also no firm release date, but expect it within the half of the year.
Spongebob Squarepants: The Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated:

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated is an upcoming platform video game based on the Nickelodeon animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. It is a remake of the console versions of Heavy Iron Studios’ SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom, in development by Purple Lamp Studios and to be published by THQ Nordic for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is scheduled for a release on June 23, 2020.
One of the best platformers of its generation (don’t @ me) is getting an enormous remaster in June. Rehydrated features an entire art overhaul to Battle for Bikini Bottom’s dated PS2/Xbox graphics while updating gameplay, controls, and adding a fresh local multiplayer mode.
